August 2016 Update

Sep 03 2016

Hello! What a year it’s been!

I flew out to Regina, Saskatchewan to teach a clinic at Stickman Drum Camp at the end of June. It was my first clinic so it was very exciting to put together a presentation of everything I’ve been working on and being able to share the stage with other great drummers such as Carter Maclean, Emmanuelle Caplette and Jason Suter. From there I flew to New Jersey to record drums for a new hardcore/metal project with some super talented friends of mine. Probably the most challenging recording experience I’ve ever had to get through. It’s extremely fast and aggressive, I can’t wait for everyone to hear it. Trade Wind recorded and released a new record called “You Make Everything Disappear” which I played drums on and helped write. You can watch the music video for our single “Lowest Form” in the media section. Sextape is currently finishing an awesome new record as well. I played drums on 3 of the songs on it and I feel very confident about these batch of songs. Trade Wind toured the US in July in support of the new record and will be heading to Europe in October for a short run with Sights and Sounds. Also very excited to have joined the Q Drum Co family. I built a kit with them to specifically cater to all the projects I have going on and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Sounds insane! I’ll be posting some new videos soon.

Lately I’ve just been teaching as much as I can and learning more about production and recording live drums. I’ll update again as things develop! Hope everyone is staying inspired and healthy.

Hello! Welcome to my website. Thanks for visiting!

I’m currently getting the finishing touches done on this site as we set up for rehearsals today in Toronto. I’m very excited for the rest of the year with getting the live show ready for Kai and wrapping up the Sextape record. I’ve just gotten back from Ireland from a week camp/masterclass with Mike Johnston, Mark Guiliana, and Robert Sput Searight. I learned so much and was lucky to be inspired by such great musicians.

Keep posted to this site for what I’m up to. I’m going to try and keep it as up to date as possible!
